Name of area: Riverside State Park 7 Mile ORV Area
Location of area: Northwest of Spokane Washington
NOTE: Do not confuse this area with the Spokane County ORV Park located west of Spokane!
Directions - How To Get There (also see maps below!):
Take I-90 exit 281 (Division / US Hwy 2 / US Hwy 395) and turn north.
Follow Division north approximately 4.3 miles to Francis Ave (State Hwy 291) and turn left (west).
Follow Francis Ave approximately 3 miles where it goes down a hill and becomes Nine Mile Road.
Follow Nine Mile Road northwest approximately 2.9 miles to Seven Mile Road and turn left (west)
(Watch for signs!).
Follow Seven Mile Road northwest approximately 2.3 miles to Inland Road and turn left (south).
WARNING! After crossing the bridge, the road becomes narrow and quite twisty - watch your speed!
Follow Inland Road south until you see a parking area on both sides of the road - this is the ORV Area!!!!
NOTE: Inland Road can be rough and can be very dusty!

Hours: 6:30 AM to dusk, 7 days a week
May be limited during dry season!

The terrain provides hill climbs, sand areas, mud bog (when wet), and trails through wooded areas
(also a rock garden!)
Restrooms, parking, two picnic shelters, a loading/unloading ramp, a training area, and more are at the site.
Camping (for a fee!) is available nearby at the Bowl and Pitcher area of Riverside State Park (year-round) as
well as the Nine Mile Recreation area (summer only)
ORVs/OHVs must be trailered to the ORV area, unless they are street-legal.
Any Applicable Fees and Restrictions:
WA Discover Pass required.
ORV permit tabs are required for operating any non-street-legal vehicle in the ORV area. Current out-of-state tabs are acceptable.
A US Forest Service approved spark arrestor is required, and must be in working condition, with no modifications.
ORVs are required to have an operating muffler device which is adequate and does not exceed noise standards.
New restrictions! To prevent water quality damage, riding is NOT allowed in or across Deep Creek when it has water flowing
(usually March to June). Signs will be placed to help remind riders.
